About The Position

Build a foundation for lasting relationships with new customers and foster ongoing relationships with existing customers in the retail store and at associated events. Maintain store inventory and presentation via stocking, merchandising, and cleaning.

Requirements

Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
Passion and knowledge for Tennis, Pickleball or Running preferred.
Stringing experience a plus.
Listen well to customers and serve them in a manner that is friendly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrate ability to learn new software applications.
Communicate clearly and professionally during conversations.
Demonstrate active listening skills.
Approach problem-solving with creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and offer warm hospitality throughout their visit.
Provide thorough assistance to all customers in a friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable manner, including all Sports Warehouse curbside pick-up costumers.
Display a comprehensive and current understanding of company policies, procedures, products and services.
Offer outstanding customer service, meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations whenever possible.
Maintain store inventory and appearance, engaging in stocking, merchandising and cleaning, either proactively or by assignment.
Be flexible during busy times by helping fellow co-workers and multi-tasking.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Continuously learn and develop skills, procedures and information relevant to the position.
Understand resources available to locate answers to product questions.
Communicate with other departments when necessary, regarding any customer issues.
