About The Position

This role focuses on effectively using product knowledge to sell merchandise and adhere to the customer service program. The associate will greet customers, answer questions, improve engagement with merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include operating cash registers, achieving individual sales goals, directing customers to merchandise, increasing in-store sales, maintaining an orderly appearance on the sales floor, introducing promotions, cross-selling products, and adhering to all policies and security procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Very organized and detail-oriented.
Able to adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once.
Must be able to lift merchandise, merchandising equipment, and boxes up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience
Strong customer service skills
