About The Position

The Retail Associate will effectively use product knowledge to sell all merchandise and adhere to the customer service program. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to achieve individual sales goals. The associate will be responsible for greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service. They will also operate cash registers, direct customers to merchandise, increase in-store sales, maintain an orderly appearance on the sales floor, introduce promotions, and cross-sell products to increase purchase amounts. Adherence to all policies and security procedures is mandatory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Very organized and detail-oriented
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once
• Must be able to lift merchandise, merchandising equipment, and boxes up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience
