Retail Part Time Associate
About The Position
The Retail Part Time Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; handles customer purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; processes merchandise; and helps maintain store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction standards. The associate also follows applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the company merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
