Retail Associate - Storm Lake - Part-time
About The Position
Goodwill of the Great Plains is seeking several part-time Retail Associates to provide customers with an exemplary experience and atmosphere through outstanding customer service and by maintaining a clean, inviting, and shoppable store. The role includes processing sales transactions and donated goods, maintaining register supplies, and stocking the sales floor. The position pays $15.00 per hour. Goodwill describes its compensation package as performance-based, competitive with organizations with similar missions, and commensurate with the employee’s level of responsibility. Eligible employees may receive a Personal Day, Birthday Day Off, and six paid holidays upon hire, as well as health, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure sales transactions are rung up appropriately, all monies are collected and counted, and correct change is given.
- Maintain cash register supplies.
- Stock and rotate goods on the sales floor.
- Accept donated items in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner according to store guidelines.
- Process donated items to produce inventory for the sales floor.
