About The Position
The Seasonal Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and embodying the company’s customer experience principles. The role also maintains a clean, organized, and safe store environment and follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is at HomeGoods Store 1017 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, with a starting pay range of $12.75 to $13.25 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
