About The Position
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, loss-prevention, safety, and labor standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes assisting with purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and merchandising merchandise, and helping recover and maintain the sales floor and overall store. Associates contribute to a positive store culture, support shrink-reduction efforts, and respond appropriately to feedback and changing situations. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
