About The Position
The Retail Associate supports store operations and creates an inviting, efficient shopping experience while contributing to Goodwill’s mission of improving lives through the power of work. The role involves assisting customers, supporting sales goals, collaborating with teammates, and maintaining merchandise and store conditions. Goodwill provides training; prior retail, sales, or customer service experience is a plus but is not required. A background check is required.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist shoppers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations in a positive and professional manner.
- Help foster a welcoming and inclusive shopping environment.
- Support the team in meeting and exceeding sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Promote store promotions and initiatives.
- Collaborate with teammates to address challenges and share best practices.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve store performance.
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and conduct inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment in accordance with company standards.
- Adapt to changing business needs, multitask, prioritize tasks, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
