Retail Associate Nights/Weekends
About The Position
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple areas to support business needs. The associate helps create a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; processes purchases and returns accurately; promotes credit and loyalty programs; maintains merchandising standards; prepares merchandise for the sales floor; and supports store recovery, cleanliness, shrink reduction, and safety. The associate also provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback, follows labor laws and company policies, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Cross-train or work in multiple store areas as needed to support the business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
