About The Position

The Americus retail store, located at 1607 E Lamar St, is currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Processor. Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s Retail Associate – Processor responsibilities include processing and sorting donated goods, stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, identifying quality donations, and ensuring donations are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor on time. The role also involves achieving production goals, working other areas of the store as requested, and being cross-trained in all areas of the retail operation. This position can be part-time (averaging 20-25 hours per week) or full-time (averaging 32-40 hours per week), with hours fluctuating based on business needs. Operating days will vary, and the associate must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), required.
Basic math skills.
Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment, required.

Nice To Haves

1 year of Cash handling experience, preferred.
Warehouse experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Processes and sorts donated goods in a rapid but accurate manner.
Stocks the store shelves in a neat and orderly manner.
Rotates merchandise on a color-coded system.
Identifies quality donations.
Donations are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor on time.
Achieves production goals and outcomes based on quality and quantity of donations.
Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
Will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation.
