About The Position

Bob’s Discount Furniture is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to support operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail showroom. The role combines leadership on the sales floor with oversight of back-end operations, logistics, and team development. The assistant manager supports store performance, drives operational goals, and helps execute The Bob’s Way. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of retail, warehouse, or operations management experience.
• Proven success in team leadership and operational oversight.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, move, or slide merchandise up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and walk the sales floor regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail or warehouse management.
• Sales and showroom merchandising knowledge.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance procedures.
