As an Account Executive, you will hold a meaningful role, focused on crafting and driving our strategic relationship within the retail space. We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Retail Account Executive to support and drive the MediaMarktSaturn Retail account in Germany. This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for executing the commercial strategy, maximising sales performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction across all retail touchpoints. The Retail Account Executive serves as a key business partner for the retail customer, supporting long-term growth objectives aligned with the account's strategic direction while ensuring flawless day-to-day operational execution. They are responsible for supporting Apple business development and maximising sell-through achievement by ensuring that the highest possible revenue targets are achieved.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales/account management in the consumer retailer, telecoms, digital, or technology industry.
  • Previous experience influencing senior management stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of solution-based selling.
  • Has demonstrated ability to actively diagnose and develop remedies or plans for challenges and opportunities.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth across all Apple lines of business within the MediaMarktSaturn retail channel, by initiating, coordinating, and implementing sales and marketing programmes cross-functionally.
  • Deliver growth and revenue sell-through across all Apple lines of business.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan in line with Appleʼs objectives and customer priorities.
  • Independently identify and develop growth opportunities through category management, joint business planning, and promotional strategy.
  • Provide sales consulting on the integration and implementation of Apple products in customer environments.
  • Negotiate, communicate and build relationships effectively across a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Manage demand generation activities including: reporting, tracking and execution of programmes, promotions; and delivery of ad hoc programmes using MDF.
  • Drive accurate sales forecasting and timely order placement with partners to ensure optimal inventory levels and uninterrupted sell-through performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and shopper insights to inform business decisions.
  • Determine and execute methods and procedures to ensure best-in-class positioning of Apple products in all consumer offers.
  • Ensure seamless coordination within a complex matrix organization to deliver best-in-class retail execution.
  • Excel at presenting in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers and senior management.
  • Deliver time-sensitive projects and manage internal processes including budget requests and Central submissions.
  • Coordinate across marketing, supply chain, and category management for operational excellence.
