About The Position

Aviata Health Group is seeking a Restorative Nursing Aide to join Aviata at The Harbor in Safety Harbor, Florida. The role provides direct care to residents in restorative nursing programs, helping them attain and maintain their maximum functional potential and minimize functional decline. The aide encourages resident participation, documents care and progress, and reports changes to management. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Certification or registration in the state of practice.
Maintain a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education to maintain certification.
Be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in a setting serving the same age or type of resident population as the facility.
Knowledge and skills in basic restorative nursing principles and practices.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents receiving restorative nursing to promote maximum functional potential and minimize functional decline.
Provide restorative care, including restorative dining, splints, activities of daily living, bowel and bladder management, passive and active range of motion, ambulation, and transfers.
Encourage residents to participate in assigned programs using verbal cueing, one-on-one support, and safety precautions.
Maintain documentation for each resident participating in the Restorative Program and notify management of resident changes.
Contribute innovative ideas and concepts to improve systems and processes and achieve superior results.
