Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
Must be willing to attend out-of-state Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) or Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) training within six months of hire.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
A valid Alaska Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position.
Must complete and pass a pre-employment state and federal background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
Subject to random drug testing.

Nice To Haves

College coursework in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Tribal Court, treatment providers, Elders, and community partners to support participant success through restorative justice and reentry planning.
Maintain accurate case documentation and court reports.
Participate in ongoing professional development.
Contribute to program improvement.
Uphold organizational standards while advancing culturally grounded healing, accountability, and community wellness.
