Restorative Certified Nurse Assistant - LTC (Day / 8 hrs shifts
About The Position
We are looking for a Full Time Restorative Nurse Assistant for our Long Term Care Unit! This role involves providing quality patient care and restorative services, working closely with the Rehab Services team to ensure excellent restorative care for all residents regarding ADLs, mobility, hygiene, and other measures. Requirements
- Current valid Nevada CNA license
- Long term or skilled nursing care experience is required
- Certified to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
Nice To Haves
- CNA with experience in Rehab services is preferred
- Continued education on restorative measures with Rehab Services
Responsibilities
- Bathing
- Feeding patients and using assistive feeding devices
- Nail care
- Back rubs
- Educating on principles of good body mechanics and positioning and aligning patients
- Prevention and care of contractures and deformities
- Transferring patients from bed to chair, chair to tub, and chair to toilet
- Principles and application of routine R.O.M's
- Documentation and charting
- Vitals
- Other duties assigned to CNAs
