About The Position

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Restorative Aide at Kindred Hospital Bay Area St. Petersburg. The role supports patients in reaching their maximum functional potential by performing restorative nursing interventions and reporting patient responses or condition changes to the supervising nurse or therapist.

The Restorative Aide contributes to quality management, safety, and administrative and clinical efficiency initiatives. The position also supports cost-effective care delivery, interdisciplinary activities, client relations, and marketing efforts; maintains clinical competency; and participates in team meetings, continuing education, and professional development. The schedule is full time, with some weekends required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six to twelve months of relevant experience is strongly recommended, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
• CPR certification.
• Competence with basic computer and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing interventions to support patients in reaching maximum functional potential.
• Report patient responses and changes in condition to the supervising nurse or therapist.
• Participate in quality management and safety committee activities.
• Assist with collecting quality review data and preparing for surveys.
• Support cost-effective care delivery and interdisciplinary group activities.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Demonstrate professional behavior when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Follow professional organization standards and internal policies.
• Contribute to client relations and marketing efforts.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in team meetings.
• Support administrative and clinical efficiency initiatives.
