Restorative Aide
About The Position
This position involves participating in the planning and implementation of rehabilitation care for assigned residents on assigned units. The Restorative Aide will assist residents in achieving and maintaining the highest level of independent function and will report any changes in resident function to the Unit Manager and Lead Restorative Aide. The role also includes completing all necessary clerical duties for proper documentation and performing other assigned duties within the Nursing department's mission, such as weights, ADL care, and feeding, as situations warrant to meet the overall needs of the facility. The position may require assisting the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Requirements
- Must have completed a nurse aide program and obtained certification.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning and implementing rehab care to assigned residents on assigned units.
- Assist assigned residents to achieve and maintain highest level of independent function.
- Report all changes in the resident function to the Unit Manager and Lead Restorative Aide.
- Complete all clerical duties as necessary to maintain proper documentation.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned that are within the Nursing department’s mission and as situations warrant in meeting the overall needs of the facility. (i.e. weights, ADL care, feeding).
- May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
