About The Position

Restorative Aide at Kindred Hospital St Louis South. This is a full-time day shift position with a schedule of 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, requiring one weekend a month. Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is committed to employee well-being and providing exceptional care. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Restorative Aide, and new graduates are welcome.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience as a Rehab Tech or Restorative Nursing Aide in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Competence with basic computer and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing interventions to support patients in reaching maximum functional potential.
• Report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising nurse or therapist.
• Participate in quality management and safety committee activities.
• Assist in collecting quality review data and survey preparation.
• Support cost-effective care delivery and interdisciplinary group activities.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Demonstrate professional behavior in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Adhere to the standards of professional organizations and internal policies.
• Contribute to client relations and marketing efforts.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in team meetings.
• Support administrative and clinical efficiency initiatives.
