About The Position
Brendan House, part of Logan Health, is looking for a compassionate and dependable Restorative Aide to support residents in maintaining and improving their highest level of independence, mobility, and quality of life. In this role, you will work closely with nursing and therapy teams to carry out restorative programs that help residents build strength, maintain function, and stay engaged in their daily routines. Requirements
- Current CNA certification preferred/required depending on facility requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or direct patient care preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing and therapy teams
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with restorative nursing programs and activities designed to support mobility, independence, and overall well-being.
- Assist residents with walking, range-of-motion exercises, transfers, positioning, and other restorative care activities.
- Support residents with activities of daily living while encouraging independence whenever possible.
- Follow individualized restorative care plans as directed by nursing and therapy staff.
- Document resident participation, progress, and any changes or concerns.
- Communicate with nurses, therapists, and care team members to help ensure continuity of care.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment for residents.
- Build trusting relationships with residents and support their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
