About The Position

Join LEMOINE as a Restoration Technician and play a pivotal role in the Disaster division. Your expertise in demolition, restoration, and construction will be key to maintaining our commitment to quality workmanship, meeting deadlines, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The Restoration Technician is responsible for contract administration, procurement, subcontract awards, scheduling and costing, oversight of project quality and safety, staff oversight, and mentoring, all in an effort to minimize risk and to keep focus on LEMOINE's Foundations for Successful Execution. LEMOINE specializes in project and construction management, disaster recovery coordination, hazard mitigation and grant management, staff augmentation, and preparedness support for government, commercial, non-profit, and residential clients.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of disaster restoration industry and/or construction industry required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Travel is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • IICRC Certifications: ASD - Applied Structural Drying Technician, FSRT - Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician, OCT - Odor Control Technician, and WRT - Water Damage Restoration Technician.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and software programs.
  • Willingness to travel: 100% (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical labor associated with cleanup activities, packing customer's contents, general on-location cleaning, HVAC cleaning, and deodorization of facilities.
  • Conduct basic cleaning steps for fire, water, and mold to include, but not limited to the following: wipe down, pack inventory control, wrap goods, load, and unload vehicle.
  • Respond to jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and WAFRT standards.
  • Proper setup of professional drying equipment
  • Works daily with Lead Technicians and Supervisors on completing scheduled losses.
  • Monitor of drying conditions in atmosphere and building materials.
