About The Position

Based from various field locations along the East Pomquet River (Antigonish, NS) and the Sutherlands River (Country Harbour, NS) near the Goldboro Gold Project, we currently have an exciting opportunity for up to five (5) Restoration Technicians to join our NexGold team, reporting to the Director of Environment or designate. The Restoration Technician will work to support hands-on river and fish habitat restoration as part of our Fisheries Offsetting program. This position involves field-based work implementing fish habitat restoration and enhancement techniques like digger logs, rock sills, and deflectors. This position requires work outdoors and in all weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and windy conditions. Ground conditions may be uneven or hazardous. The Restoration Technician will be working directly under the field supervisor from Strum Consulting.
