About The Position

Restoration 1 of Texas Hill Country provides emergency property restoration services due to water, mold, fire, and odor damage. We are growing and searching for customer service focused Restoration Technicians in the greater San Antonio area. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills to grow their career in an industry that is known for being recession-resistant! A technician's primary responsibility is to execute and document all work related to water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, or bio-hazard clean-ups under the direction of a Lead Technician. Restoration 1 helps people get their property and life back to normal when they're dealing with water, mold, or fire damage. We understand that our customers are going through a taxing and emotionally trying time. This is why our restoration specialists strive to be attentive, offer upfront communication, and valuable services to our customers. Most people struggle to clean up the mess after a disaster such as a flood or fire. We've created a straightforward process to guide our customers through their property restoration. Requirements

  • EXCELLENT Customer Service & Communication Skills (written & verbal)
  • Valid Driver’s License without a major violation
  • Dependable, Responsible, and Positive
  • Eager to learn, acquire new skills, and grow professionally
  • Able to lift 60 lbs. unassisted
  • Willingness to participate in Afer Hours On Call rotation
  • Customer service experience - Required

Nice To Haves

  • Restoration experience NOT Required
  • Water mitigation and mold remediation experience - Prefered
  • Construction experience - Prefered
  • IICRC Certifications - Prefered

Responsibilities

  • Provide Legendary Customer Service
  • Remove water from residential and commercial properties
  • Removal of damaged materials in structures: drywall, flooring, cabinets, etc.
  • Carrying, setting, and cleaning specialty drying equipment
  • Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and management
  • Participate in the "on-call" rotation for emergency service calls after hours and on assigned weekends.
  • Work independently and as a team
  • Responsible for the assigned vehicle, managing inventory on van and equipment care and maintenance
