About The Position

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning and delivering projects that meet Restoration Relief requirements for schedule, budget, and quality. The PM will be assigned to lead a project team consisting of a Project Coordinator (PC), Estimator, and others as required by the project. On a project by project basis, this position will be responsible to drive the project to successful completion. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining a clear understanding of the funding status for the project.

Requirements

Good attitude and work ethic
Ability to work under high levels of activity
Three years experience working in the Disaster Restoration field
Solid understanding of construction means and methods
Proficiency with project financials, budgeting and scheduling on multiple projects
Excellent written and verbal communication
Good driving record

Responsibilities

Lead a project team consisting of Project Coordinator (PC), Estimator, Mitigation/ Reconstruction/ Cleaning Technicians, Tradespersons, and Suppliers.
Coordinate with any public authority having jurisdiction of the project, Client, Adjuster, the Restoration Relief Business Developer (BD) associated with the project, Restoration Relief operation management for allocation of Restoration Relief resources, Internal Reconstruction labor, All Cleaning labor, and All Content labor and resources.
Make decisions regarding construction means and method.
Make decisions regarding project schedule sequence. Start dates for Restoration Relief Resources to be coordinated with RR Operations Team.
Make decisions regarding project budget.
Serve as the primary contact to the client and the adjustor for decisions.
Manage project safety.
Ensure project quality and client satisfaction.
Ensure completeness of the digital project record, documenting important conversations and progress.
Perform functions associated with Business Development, coordinating with the VP of BD and as authorized by his / her supervisor.
Develop relationships with potential clients and referral sources.
Maintain and further development of relationships with clients and referral sources.
Attend company sponsored networking events.
Entertain (lunches, golf outings with referral sources).
Participate in the On-Call rotation.
Deploy with field crews during emergency response as required.
Attend Training seminars.
Attend weekly production meetings and staff meetings.
Perform additional tasks as directed by Supervisor.
