About The Position

Primoris Gas Operations, with over 60 years of experience in the natural gas distribution industry, is seeking laborers to join their Restoration Team in Wisconsin. Companies under Primoris Gas Operations include Q3 Contracting, ARB, Primoris Distribution Services, Snelson, and Pipejacking Trenchless. The team's focus is on providing a safe environment, quality workmanship, and exceptional value. Restoration Laborers will perform manual labor to support the restoration department, including tasks related to concrete patch work, sod restoration, blacktop, and asphalt. Applicants with a commercial driver's license are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Must be dependable and able to perform physically demanding work in the elements.
  • Ability to restore a project back to the same or better condition.
  • Be respectful of fellow workers, clients, and client’s customers.
  • Prior construction knowledge helpful, but not required.
  • Understands safety zones while working around equipment i.e., backhoes, bore rigs, air compressors etc.
  • Close vision is required for some functions and distance and peripheral vision is required for safety.
  • Possession of a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Holds a current drivers license with no restrictions.
  • Able to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds on a daily and continual basis.
  • Standing, walking including and primarily on uneven surfaces, turning, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking and hearing are required continuously.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual labor as directed for safe and efficient support of the restoration department.
  • Perform manual labor with respect to concrete patch work, sod restoration, blacktop, and asphalt.
  • Perform many different tasks that may require the use of many hand and power tools.
  • Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support form work, clean up rubble/debris, and tear out concrete.
  • Assist in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete and dismantle forms after use.
  • Grade dirt/concrete and clean construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Assist to align, straighten, plumb, and square forms.
  • Build curb, prepare, form, and pour proper ADA compliant ramps that pass inspection prior to pour and after completion.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Perform physically demanding work in the elements.
  • Restore a project back to the same or better condition.
  • Be respectful of fellow workers, clients, and client’s customers.
  • Understand safety zones while working around equipment (e.g., backhoes, bore rigs, air compressors).
