About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Estimator to oversee the contents estimating operations for our group of six (6) franchise locations in Pennsylvania. Working directly in collaboration with our Contents Department Management, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and finalizing accurate contents restoration estimates using industry-standard platforms. A major component of this role involves navigating Third-Party Administrator (TPA) programs and guidelines to ensure compliance, rapid approval, and seamless project execution. If you are a proficiency-driven estimator with strong hands-on field knowledge in mitigation and contents, we provide a complete work-from-home setup to ensure your success.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and high proficiency in both Xactimate and Symbility (CoreLogic) platforms.
  • Thorough familiarity and direct working experience with major TPA programs (Alacrity, Sedgwick, Lionsbridge, Westhill, etc.) and their specific submission guidelines.
  • Ability to work standard Eastern Standard Time hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).
  • Willingness and capability to utilize our provided company work-from-home technology setup exclusively for all business operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on prior field experience in Contents Restoration (pack-outs, cleaning, inventorying) and/or Water/Fire Mitigation.
  • Relevant IICRC certifications (e.g., CCT, FSRT, WRT) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate Creation & Oversight: Scope, write, and audit comprehensive contents restoration estimates across all 6 PA franchise locations.
  • Platform Operations: Utilize Symbility/CoreLogic and Xactimate daily to produce precise, line-item estimates adhering to industry pricing and regional guidelines.
  • TPA Compliance: Serve as the subject matter expert for Third-Party Administrator (TPA) programs (including Alacrity, Sedgwick, Lionsbridge, Westhill, etc.). Ensure all estimate submissions meet specific carrier SLAs, line-item caps, and documentation protocols.
  • Management Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Contents Department Management, project managers, and field technicians to review scope of work, photo documentation, and contents inventory lists.
  • File Management & Workflow: Track job statuses from initial scoping through final carrier approval, handling revisions, supplements, and rejections efficiently.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all estimate documentation—including inventory logs, total loss reports, pack-out/pack-in details, and cleaning costs—is complete, compliant, and defensible.
