About The Position
Restaurant Team Members provide friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. They take and prepare food orders, answer questions about menu items, process payments, and maintain a clean, sanitized work area. Love’s provides training, so prior experience is not required. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 pounds or more.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Take customer food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
- Balance the cash register and offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Accurately and safely prepare orders at kitchen stations such as the sandwich line, fry station, or grill station, depending on the restaurant concept.
- Use methods and technologies to maintain food safety and ensure fresh, safe products for customers.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Potentially cross-train in Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
