About The Position

Life as a Restaurant Supervisor: Direct the restaurant in the areas of product quality, service and profitability of the restaurant. Active supervision in the restaurant and the selected candidate will work a variety of AM and PM shifts. Oversees the scheduling, training, and development of our food and beverage front of the house team ensuring excellent service to our guests. Expected to have direct involvement with guests and employees. This is a hands-on position that requires active, vigorous leadership, including maintaining a professional and ethical image for the Restaurant. Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and stock and required necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact to all employees.

Requirements

  • Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable.
  • A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
