About The Position

As a Restaurant Supervisor at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you will lead a dynamic team, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience while maintaining a friendly, high-energy atmosphere that guarantees guests leave satisfied and eager to return. This role involves overseeing daily operations, enforcing policies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring staff adherence to conduct and appearance standards. You will monitor food quality, service standards, and preparation methods, making adjustments as needed. The position also focuses on managing profitability by controlling payroll, equipment costs, and maintaining inventory and par stock levels. Additionally, you will train and guide staff, open and close the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, and interact positively with guests, resolving issues and promoting hotel facilities and services. Accurate use of the POS system and timely food and beverage service are essential, as is performing all dining room roles as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including guest requests and banquet event orders.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and diplomacy.
  • Comfortable standing and moving throughout shifts in restaurant and kitchen areas.
  • Proficient knife skills and ability to perform prep work with dexterity.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous restaurant or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including staffing, equipment, and guest relations.

Responsibilities
