About The Position

The Fontaine, A Kansas City Hotel, is seeking a passionate, guest-focused Restaurant Supervisor to help provide an exceptional dining experience. The supervisor assists the Restaurant Manager with staff training and development and oversees the restaurant’s daily operations, staff, and service delivery. The role is based at an upscale boutique hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, and requires availability for flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Proven experience as a host, server, or cashier.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and cost control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
Prior cash-handling experience and experience with a MICROS POS system.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
TIPS, CPR, and Serve Safe certifications preferred.
