About The Position

The Fontaine, A Kansas City Hotel, is seeking a passionate, guest-focused Restaurant Supervisor to help provide an exceptional dining experience. The supervisor assists the Restaurant Manager with staff training and development and oversees daily restaurant operations, staff, and service delivery. The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, strong leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach. This is a seasonal position in a modern, upscale boutique hotel in Kansas City, Missouri.

Requirements

Proven experience as a host, server, or cashier.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and cost control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
Prior cash-handling experience and experience with the MICROS POS system.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
TIPS, CPR, and Serve Safe certifications preferred.
