About The Position

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the administration, operation, and direct management of the restaurant. This role involves developing and assisting with the business plan and budget, managing inventory and ordering, and developing staff through training, interviewing, performance management, and evaluations. The supervisor will also review staffing levels, delegate duties, and implement programs to reduce injuries. They will meet with departmental directors and managers as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.
  • A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.

  • Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing and inventory control.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Control Board for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the restaurant.
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate the restaurant.
  • Developing servers, host, cashiers and utility staff to include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.
  • Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary.
  • Review departmental status with Manager.
  • Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
