About The Position

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the restaurant property during business hours. This position helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees by performing routine cleaning, stocking, sanitation, and property maintenance duties throughout the shift.

Requirements

  • No experience required. We offer on the job training.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

  • Janitorial, custodial, maintenance, or restaurant support experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all guest and employee areas, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Clean and stock guest and employee restrooms throughout the day.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors as needed.
  • Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other surfaces.
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of entrances, walkways, patios, parking areas, and other exterior spaces.
  • Replenish supplies and keep storage areas clean and organized.
  • Promptly address spills, safety hazards, and cleanliness concerns.
  • Follow all company safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and equipment problems to management.
  • Assist with other cleaning and property upkeep projects as assigned.
