About The Position

The Restaurant Shift Manager is responsible for directly overseeing the operations of the food and beverage outlet on an assigned shift. This role involves creating and ensuring a fresh, positive, and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery, and execution of product excellence and service are paramount. The manager is accountable for upholding service commitments, standards, financial goals, and policies/procedures, while also building rapport and loyalty with team members and guests.

Requirements

Three to five years’ experience in full service restaurant management.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field.
Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand).

Responsibilities

Overall management of the restaurant for a particular shift.
Creating and ensuring a fresh, positive, and exciting environment focused on sanitation, flawless delivery, and product excellence.
Ensuring service commitments, standards, financial goals, and policies/procedures are consistently upheld.
Building rapport, commitment, and loyalty with team members and guests.
Ensuring service is carried out in accordance with established policy.
Training and evaluating all restaurant personnel and enforcing food and beverage policies and procedures.
Ensuring sanitation compliance throughout the restaurant.
Handling customer complaints.
Meeting profit goals in all the restaurants.
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements within the area of responsibility.
Maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility.
