About The Position

This position, like most at the Grove, is performed outdoors. It is beautiful and you are surrounded by ancient redwoods while working alongside like minded a friendly individuals.

Requirements

18 years or older.
Ability to repeatedly lift and carry a tray weighing up to 25 lbs.
Ability to communicate in English (listening, understanding, and responding) with members/guests/co-workers in a loud, fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry a tray for long periods of time.
Ability to work outdoors.
Ability to work a straight 8hr shift or two 4hr split shifts.
Criminal Background Check Required

Responsibilities

Check with members to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients, and cooking methods.
Inform members of daily specials.
Answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
Serve food and/or beverages to members.
Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
