About The Position
EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN DOWNTOWN DAVENPORT, IOWA, AUTOGRAPH COLLECTION HOTEL IS LOOKING FOR AM/PM AND BARTENDER SERVERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM! This role involves a significant focus on guest services, ensuring a positive dining experience, and also includes administrative tasks to maintain restaurant operations.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a timely, outgoing, and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders from restaurant customers
- Accommodate special needs and requests from guests and staff members
- Remain attentive to the customer throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to and exceeding service standards
- Receives proper payment from guests and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
- Responds to customer inquiries and comments in person and on the telephone by providing timely and knowledgeable information
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
- Memorizes menu items, recipes, and daily specials in order to answer questions and make recommendations to customers
- Maintains cleanliness standards in the restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service area
- Controls allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information
- Attends all pre-meal and departmental meetings in person
- Presents a clean and professional appearance at all times
