About The Position

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN DOWNTOWN DAVENPORT, IOWA, AUTOGRAPH COLLECTION HOTEL IS LOOKING FOR AM/PM AND BARTENDER SERVERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM! This role involves a significant focus on guest services, including greeting guests, taking orders, accommodating special requests, and ensuring a positive dining experience. It also includes administrative tasks such as restocking, cleaning, memorizing menu items, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a timely, outgoing, and friendly manner
Take food and drink orders from restaurant customers
Accommodate special needs and requests from guests and staff members
Remain attentive to the customer throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to and exceeding service standards
Receives proper payment from guests and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment
Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
Responds to customer inquiries and comments in person and on the telephone by providing timely and knowledgeable information
Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
Memorizes menu items, recipes, and daily specials in order to answer questions and make recommendations to customers
Maintains cleanliness standards in the restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service area
Controls allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information
Attends all pre-meal and departmental meetings in person
Presents a clean and professional appearance at all times
