About The Position

The Restaurant Server describes the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests. Offer interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicates guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinates food timings; checks completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order. Anticipates guest needs to ascertain satisfaction and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Upsell, process payment properly, complete side work, maintain assigned section with urgency.

Requirements

Strong ability to multi-task and observe entire dining room.
Time management skills.
Strong knowledge of food & beverage.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong interpersonal and team player skills.
United States work authorization is required.
