About The Position

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, taking and delivering food and beverage orders accurately, and maintaining a positive attitude. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and adherence to all casino and departmental policies. The server will also assist with table maintenance, cleaning, and side work to ensure a smooth operation and a positive guest experience.

Requirements

• Read, write, and speak English sufficiently to understand menus and communicate with guests.
• Ability to transport up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift trays weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment.
• Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Pass a background check and drug-screening test.
• Obtain a local food handler permit and an Oklahoma ABLE license after hire.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Previous hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portray a positive attitude and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding menus, specials, and promotions.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders using a guest check/ticket.
• Deliver food promptly, ensuring hot food is served hot and cold food is served cold.
• Abide by all liquor regulations.
• Replenish beverages and check with guests for satisfaction.
• Market and serve dessert items and specialty coffees.
• Present guest checks and accurately process payments.
• Maintain station cleanliness and proper set-up.
• Supplement bus person duties in clearing and resetting tables.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and assigned side work.
• Report any suspicious persons or activity immediately to a supervisor.
• Complete other duties as assigned, including cross-training.
• Work varying schedules to meet business needs, including weekends and holidays.
