We're helping transform the way dementia is viewed, understood, and experienced through the opening of the Marlin & Doris Thomas Memory Center. As a Restaurant Server at Home Plate, our new BBQ restaurant located within the Memory Center, you'll provide exceptional service while helping create a welcoming dining experience for Residents, families, guests, and Team Members. Requirements

• Must be 18+ to apply
• Some prior restaurant or food service experience preferred
• A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests
• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and present menus
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into our POS system
• Memorize menu items and ingredients and make recommendations
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Clear and reset tables throughout service
• Assist with banquet and special event service as needed
• Complete side work, cleaning assignments, and stocking duties
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safe handling procedures
• Collaborate with fellow Team Members to ensure an outstanding dining experience
• Assist in kitchen or dish room operations when needed
