About The Position

Lavender Rooftop Kitchen + Bar is seeking a Restaurant Server to join their team. This role involves providing excellent service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. The server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, managing payments, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Must be min 18 years of age
Your best professional attitude
Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner
Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude
Ability to act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment

Responsibilities

Serves ice water and/or coffee upon greeting the table
Accurately relays order to kitchen or bar and serves courses from kitchen and service bars
Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving
Serves patrons from dish at table on occasion
Observes diners to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed
Totals bill and accept payment or refers patron to cashier, using arithmetic, including making change
Replenishes supplies and prepares for the next meal
Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
Other duties as assigned
