Requirements
- Previous experience as a server in an upscale restaurant or private club is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, food, wine, and cocktail service.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse clientele.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, specials, and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar teams promptly.
- Serve dishes and beverages in an elegant and precise manner, adhering to presentation standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences, making recommendations and customizing orders when requested.
- Ensure guests' special dietary requirements and allergies are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tables, dining area, and server stations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback tactfully and promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service flow and maintain a harmonious work environment.
