About The Position

CO-OP Restaurant & Lounge, located within The Study at University City, is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role is responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and guest-focused service while supporting the restaurant's daily operations during breakfast and lunch. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering a welcoming, engaging guest experience. Our caring and attentive associates reinforce our belief that guest service is our highest priority. We seek service-oriented individuals who take pride in hospitality, teamwork, and delivering memorable dining experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant environment.
  • Availability to work morning shifts, typically between 6:00am and 3:00pm.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in English required; a second language is a plus.
  • Ability to lift or carry items up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests.
  • Guide guests through menu offerings, daily specials, and beverage selections.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergy considerations, and beverage programs.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Complete opening and closing side work, including setup, breakdown, and detailed cleaning of service areas.
  • Work collaboratively with culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support team members as needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Continue developing knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktails.
