About The Position

Esplanade at Madeira Ranch is hiring restaurant servers to join their opening team for The Barrel House Bistro, a brand-new restaurant and bar. Servers will be responsible for delivering a welcoming and elevated experience for Members, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests feel valued. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing team and help shape the service culture from the beginning.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Food Safety and Sanitation Training required.
Alcohol Awareness Training required.
Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Ability to read and speak English may be required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
Describes daily specials to guests and answers questions regarding menu items, offering suggestions when appropriate.
Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food promptly after preparation.
Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items as needed.
Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties.
Is accountable for checks and cash transactions, utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques.
Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
