About The Position

Friendly, service-minded, and ready to make every guest's visit great? Prime Group is looking for a Bistro Server to greet guests with a smile, keep our dining areas spotless, and help deliver a warm, welcoming experience from morning to night. The Bistro Server is a member of the Food and Beverage team and is responsible for greeting every guest with a smile and positive attitude, organizing and maintaining a clean service area, cleaning tables and the restaurant area, and following all local health laws. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an inventory of needed supplies and being familiar with the hotel's amenities and hours of operation. This role also performs support functions including cleaning the food preparation and customer seating areas, stocking, and maintaining inventory.

Requirements

High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Prior demonstrated ability to interact with guests and fellow teammates in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner
Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with guests
Some prior cash handling and customer service experience required
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
A strong business orientation, comfortable operating in an environment with high expectations around integrity and relationship building
A hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a strong work ethic
Creative yet practical, with strong common sense
A good communicator who keeps all parties informed in an organized, coherent manner

Ability to effectively and positively address guest or associate concerns, demonstrating empathy and providing proactive solutions
Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or lift items, operate a computer, and talk or hear
Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms

Occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times
Take pride in representing PMG Hospitality professionally with our guests
Ensure that all interactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical manner
Comply with Company Standards of Service as outlined for PMG Hospitality
Project a favorable image of PMG Hospitality to the public at all times
Treat guests, vendors, customers, and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times
Complete Departmental, PMG Hospitality, and Brand standards training as assigned
Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times, including a complete uniform or business dress and name tag in public areas
Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures
Politely greet customers and provide information about the products
Organize and maintain a clean service area, cleaning tables and the restaurant area
Follow all local health laws
Maintain an inventory of needed supplies and stay familiar with the hotel's amenities and hours of operation
Clean food preparation and customer seating areas, and assist with stocking and maintaining inventory
Perform any and all other duties as requested by the Bistro Supervisor and/or management
