About The Position
Cap Rock Cabana, located at the Cap Rock Golf Complex overlooking the Apple Rock and Ram Rock golf courses, offers a casual dining experience with scenic golf course views. Serving breakfast, lunch, beverages, and resort favorites, the Cabana welcomes golfers, resort members, and guests seeking exceptional service in a relaxed outdoor setting. The restaurant is seeking an energetic and service-focused Restaurant Server to join their team. In this role, you will provide attentive, professional service while creating a memorable dining experience for resort members and guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, demonstrates strong communication skills, and is committed to delivering excellent guest service.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current TABC Certification required.
- Current Food Handler Certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous resort, club, or upscale dining experience preferred.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, daily features, and beverage offerings.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service throughout the dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams regarding orders, special requests, and dietary needs.
- Prepare and maintain service stations, dining areas, and equipment to established standards.
- Assist with table maintenance, bussing, and overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Follow resort service standards, cash handling procedures, and applicable Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Complete required side work and shift documentation.
