About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a highly motivated, customer-focused Restaurant Server at Rand Tower, Minneapolis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The server is responsible for creating a positive guest experience by preparing the restaurant for service, welcoming guests, presenting and describing menu items, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring timely, accurate billing. The role requires an engaging attitude, the ability to work quickly under pressure, and a commitment to making meaningful connections and delivering exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

• Two to four years of food service experience.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Descriptive selling ability.
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant before each shift.
• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
• Guide guests through the menu with descriptive selling.
• Take accurate orders and confirm special requests.
• Develop a strong understanding of the menu to enhance guest conversations.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
• Assist guests with concerns and guide them toward a satisfactory resolution.
• Present bills accurately and promptly.
