About The Position

Provides friendly and efficient service in a timely manner to guests according to company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards. Shows guests genuine hospitality while providing them with a memorable experience. Looks like a professional and shows sincerity with a positive, friendly attitude. Performs all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and quality of work environment as directed by Manager on Duty.

Requirements

  • Base wage plus tips.
  • Must be well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform and at all times practice good personal hygiene.
  • Must greet guest in a courteous and respectable way when seated at station.
  • Must welcome guests immediate upon seating with a non-scripted greeting.
  • Must use acquired menu knowledge to offer menu suggestions, answer questions and anticipate guests’ needs.
  • Must check completed food orders for accuracy, appearance and temperature, deliver to the table immediately.
  • Must show a desire to please with genuine hospitality, personality and specific suggestions at every step.
  • Must actively engage Guests who have concerns and remedy them.
  • Must ensure that each Guest is 100% satisfied with his/her dining experience.
  • Must keep tables/station, pantry line area and dining room common areas clean.
  • Must complete assigned Perkins cleaning system duties.
  • Must attend to any additional guests’ needs or requests.
  • Must maintain dining area – pre-bussing, detailing etc.
  • Must maintain cleanliness of his/her stations and pantry.
  • Must perform side work during shift downtime including but not limited to; rolling silverware, restocking cleaning works stations and bussing tables, etc.
  • Must execute the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times.
  • Must ensure 100% guest satisfaction on every visit.
  • Must communicate with Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies, equipment, safety problems. Etc.
  • Must keep General Manager and Manager on Duty informed of problems and/or issues and propose alternative solutions for consideration.
  • Must write guest check and/or operate POS equipment pursuant to company policies.
  • Must anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Must assist Team Members.
  • Must maintain service stations, garnish line, service bar and common areas of the restaurant.
  • Must restock service station with glasses, tea, ice and plates.
  • Must restock garnish line.
  • Must fill condiments.
  • Must sort, polish and roll silverware.
  • Must clean mirrors and artifacts.
  • Must run food for all servers to ensure hot food is served hot.
  • Must maintain cleanliness of dining room, and pantry area.
