Requirements

  • Part-time role with mandatory weekend shifts. Candidates must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests and coworkers professionally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school education or related experience
  • Must obtain and maintain any required certifications

Responsibilities

  • Sell and serve food and beverages safely
  • Process guests bills and payments
  • Set up tables and ensure cleanliness of linen, silverware, and glassware
  • Know the menu and be able to explain ingredients and preparation methods
  • Provide a warm, friendly, and professional dining experience by greeting guests, taking accurate orders, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit
  • Clean tables including removal of and proper placement of soiled wares and trash
  • Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations
  • Prepare station prior to opening, keep station neat and clean while serving guests, and clean station at end of shift
  • Professional and positive attitude towards guests and associates
  • Be knowledgeable on hotel facility and services to assist guests
  • Process checks and payments in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods time
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight
  • Additional tasks may be assigned at any given time
