About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time Restaurant Server/Bartender in downtown Davenport, Iowa, at a full-service Marriott Autograph Collection luxury hotel. The role primarily focuses on guest services (90%) with a smaller portion dedicated to administrative tasks (10%). The ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly, and committed to providing exceptional customer service throughout the dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a timely, outgoing, and friendly manner.
Take food and drink orders from restaurant customers.
Accommodate special needs and requests from guests and staff members.
Remain attentive to the customer throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to and exceeding service standards.
Receive proper payment from guests and ensure accuracy of guest check and method of payment.
Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
Respond to customer inquiries and comments in person and on the telephone by providing timely and knowledgeable information.
Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed.
Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness standards in the restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service area.
Control allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and documenting required information.
Attend all pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communications and gain knowledge.
Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
