About The Position

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, leading and developing team members, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and profitability. This role works closely with hotel leadership and other departments to deliver a welcoming dining experience while achieving operational and financial goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous restaurant management or hospitality leadership experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, guest service, and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage service, inventory management, and cost controls
  • Experience with POS systems and basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Basic financial and accounting knowledge, including cash handling and sales reporting
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and a positive guest experience.
  • Lead, coach, train, and motivate front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional hospitality and service.
  • Schedule, supervise, and evaluate restaurant staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, health department regulations, food safety practices, and sanitation requirements.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints promptly, and creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Manage reservations, seating, and table flow to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely food preparation, quality presentation, and consistent service standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and help control food, beverage, and labor costs.
  • Process daily sales reports, cash handling procedures, deposits, and reconciliations while maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure the restaurant, bar, and dining areas remain clean, organized, and presentation-ready at all times.
  • Work closely with hotel departments, including Front Desk, Sales, Housekeeping, and Maintenance, to support hotel operations and special events.
  • Assist with implementing promotions, special events, and seasonal offerings to increase guest engagement and revenue.
  • Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately.
  • Follow established emergency procedures and provide leadership during emergency situations to ensure the safety of guests and team members.
